Inside Sales Representative
The Inside Sales Representative provides a high level of customer service to an existing assigned customer base, and will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships and for a growing an existing assigned territory. He/She will work in collaboration with the external sales and customer service teams by managing dedicated accounts and by supporting different initiatives with the Sales & Marketing Team.
§ Manage a dedicated, existing list of customers; Interaction will comprise the majority of the workday in the form of telephone, E-mail and Internet communications in an effort to sell and market Pharmaceuticals product portfolio, inform customers on regulations, trends, etc., share new programs as well as first line customer service;
§ Provides support for new region and/or new product launch initiatives by executing outbound communications in order to reach sales objectives and corporate targets;
§ Generate leads, educate customers on trends, report pertinent market information and challenges, as well as program/service issue;
§ Provides recommendations to Management on improvements to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty to products by consistently monitoring and analyzing customer satisfaction via routine communication with client base and analysis of sales intelligence;
§ Responsible for the optimization of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System, development, implementation and on-going maintenance of accuracy customer information;
§ Provide superior customer service (inbound calls) in accordance with SOPs and GMP standards;
§ Develop and implement sales tools and coordinate all sales activities for trade events for Management and Sales Team. Ensure the on time delivery of sales tools, organize logistics and ensure accuracy of required information for all trade events;
§ The incumbent will participate occasionally (up to 15%) in live pharmacy visits as required by dedicated accounts.
§ Strong business and financial acumen
§ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications and internet based tools.
§ Proficiency with a CRM system
§ Knowledge of Pharmacy industry (asset)
Skills / Competencies:
§ Excellent written and verbal communications skills
§ Fluency in French and English, written and oral
§ Effective sales techniques through phone and e-mail
§ Highly driven, self-motivated and perseverant
§ Autonomous, organized and focus on servicing customers
§ Excellent time management skills
§ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or related field) or relevant market experience
§ 3 to 5 years of sales or customer service experience / inside sales.
